Thorough Screening for Surrogate Candidates
We are an agency that thoroughly screens our surrogates through a 4 to 6 week comprehensive surrogate screening process. Our surrogate applicants will complete an interview with an Intake Coordinator, then a meeting with the Owners, a background check (for her and all adults living in her household), psychological evaluation and personality inventory, and medical history review by a Nurse Practitioner and a High-Risk Fetal Medicine specialist. Once we have deemed them as a highly qualified candidate, we then start to present them to Intended Parents.
No Fees Until Matching is Confirmed
Since day 1 of starting our agency, we decided not to collect any fees up front from our intended parents. Instead, we share surrogate profiles with our clients when they are ready and who meets their criteria. Once they have expressed interest in a surrogate, that applicant will review their profile. Once each party agrees to explore next steps, medical records will be shared with the fertility doctor/clinic. Once we hear from the clinic we can proceed to a medical evaluation, then our 1st installment of our agency fee is collected and we are on our way. This unique process allows us to match quickly with surrogates who have already passed the initial screening process. It also allows Intended Parents flexibility on choosing the right surrogate for them in a timely manner.
