In a time where the whole world was stuck and unable to live life, I was able to bring a life into the world for a beautiful and deserving couple.
Hi, my name is Shawna. I started my journey with Abundant Beginnings in November 2019 wanting to help a couple become a family. I started out knowing nothing about the surrogacy process and ABC did a fantastic job at leading me step by step on my journey.
I was matched with my intended parents shortly after I applied and began the medical and legal process. Everything went smoothly, despite Covid postponing the process. I had my transfer on July 20, 2020 and my little belly buddy stuck on the first try!
Although Covid changed a lot of the things we had planned, such as my IPs coming to some appointments and ultrasound scans, it went better then we could have imagined.
My family and IPs have become so close and I couldn’t be happier. We welcomed their beautiful baby boy into this world on April 9, 2021. This journey has been by far one of the most exciting adventures of my life besides my own pregnancies and births.
This event in my life will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will forever feel blessed to know I impacted two beautiful individuals when they were feeling so hopeless. Thank you ABC for making this happen.
