I FAILED. By 1 number!  What this means is that my body could not bring that glucose down quick enough to pass the 1 hour test.

Oddly enough, this is my second most favorite part of my surrogacy journey, the first being the moment the parents get to hold their baby.

The decision for me to become a surrogate started over 10 years ago when I was in college. I played volleyball and one of my teammates who was also a roommate and to this day, a dear friend, had epilepsy. There were many discussions about her fears surrounding the issue and what her path to motherhood might actually look like.

I cannot believe we're halfway through the pregnancy already!  Things have been moving along very smoothly, which is just how I like it!  With my due date *just* 137 days away, my Intended Parents have begun doing some work to get ready for the baby.
