Julie’s Journey – First Ultrasound
Once it was confirmed that the embryo transfer was successful, the reproductive clinic scheduled me for the first ultrasound. On the date of the appointment, I was 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Here's an interesting fact most people aren't aware of: on the day of the embryo transfer, I was already considered 2w5d pregnant!

On the morning of 12 days post embryo transfer (or 12dpt), I was finally off to the lab to get my blood drawn. This test is the “official” pregnancy test issued by the reproductive clinic. I had been taking home pregnancy tests for a while and was pretty certain we would have a good result.
